This trip start in the morning by 4×4 from marrakesh towards the Haut Atlas via Tichka pass(at an altitude of 2260m) going through Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah ; visit of the fortified village Kasbah and after lunch road towards Ouarzazate to continue to Zagora by way of the Anti-Atlas, the Berber village of Agdez and the Draa Valley with its procession of palm groves.
Arrival in Zagora in the evening , night in the hotel.

On the way to the gate of the Sahara desert, Mhamid el ghizlane , pass oldest village Tamegroute with a famous Koranic library from 12 century . Even the underground Kasbah and the potteries are worth visiting. You will reach Mhamid where the Draa ends its run above ground and also the civilization ends. Lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant.after lunch we start track to the big sandy dunes erg Chegaga, the largest dunes in all Morocco. Arrival at Bivouac of Chegaga to assisted to the sunset, dinner and overnight in tents or under stars.

After breakfast, we drive through the natural dried lake of Iriqui and the plains of black stones, we will take again the asphalted road in direction of the small town of Foum Zguid, arrive at Taznakht which is one of the biggest centers of carpets in the kingdom where we will visit a cooperative of Berber carpets made by women of the surrounding villages. Return to Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah, a fortified village of the 11th century where we will spend the night.

After breakfast we will visit the widespread Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah as it has been named by Unesco in 1987. Ait Benhaddou is the World Heritage site that has been utilized as a setting for more than 20 movies incorporating “Gladiator” “Indiana Jones” and “Lawrence of Arabia”. Revel in a stroll to investigate the universal Moroccan style of construction modeling in which the Kasbahs are constructed. We proceed our approach to Marrakesh through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’tichka pass. Soften for lunch up the center of the Atlas Mountains. Drop off at your Marrakech riad.
