The departure from the Riad/Hotel will be at 8 Am. The trip to Erg Chebbi sand dunes will last 8 hours in which we will see the city of Efran and the forest of Monkeys then cross the Atlas Mountains and some villages. We will stop for lunch in Medalte or Errashidia. We will stop at Ziz valley which is the 2nd largest valley of palm trees. Before arriving to the desert we will pass by the city of Erfoud. Over night in the hotel near the sand dunes.

The morning we will leave the hotel to explore many small villages like Merzouga, Hassi Labied and also Khamlia where we will enjoy the ex-slave music with local band. Back to the Hotel after lunch, we will have the camels to the camp and enjoy the sunset on the red big dunes of Erg Chibbe, the night will be in Berber tents.

After breakfast, we will drive through the black desert (Hamada) to reach Rissani and Erfoud the city of the fossils where we will visit a fossil workshop before visiting Todra Valley, the favorite place for the rock climbers. We will have a short trek there before we continue the trip through many old Kasbahs and the rock region to Dades Valley goingwhere we are going to have dinner and to spend the night.

We will start our day by having breakfast at the hotel, then take the off road to the caves where nomads still live use as homes. We will spend some time with one of these families that are still living a simple life to know more about their culture. Next, we will visit the rose valley known for planting and making organic products from roses. then leave to Skoura palm groves then 45 km drive to Ouarzazate where we will spend the night in a local hotel.

We will start our day by visiting cinema studios in Ouarzazate (The African Hollywood). Then we are going to visit the Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah as it has been named by Unesco in 1987. More than 20 movies including “Gladiator” ” Alexander” “Indiana Jones” and “Lawrence of Arabia” were filmed in that fortified city. We drive to Marrakesh by taking the road through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’tichka pass and we’ll have lunch in the Mountains before arriving to your riad or hotel in Marrakech.
