The trip starts in the morning leaving Marrakesh towards the High Atlas Mountais via Tichka pass(at an altitude of 2260m) . When we arrive to Ouarzazate we will have time to visit the Movies sets, then visit the fortified village Kasbah of Taourirt where we will have lunch. After lunch we continue to Tamnougalte  crossing Ait Sawen mountain, the Berber village of Agdez and part of the Draa Valley with its procession of palm groves. We will visit the famous Kasbah of Tamnougalte depends on the arrival time.

We spend night in the hotel.

Leaving the hotel after breakfast, towards Mhamid el ghizlane , pass the Zoura and oldest village Tamegroute with a famous Koranic library from 12 century and the potteries are worth visiting. You will reach Mhamid where the Draa valley ends. Lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant or picnic on the way to Chigaga. After lunch we start off roading to the big sandy dunes erg Chegaga, the largest dunes in all Morocco. Arrival at camp of Chegaga to enjoy the camel ride for the sunset, dinner and overnight in tents under stars.

After breakfast, we drive through the natural dried lake of Iriqui and the plains of black stones in direction of the small town of Foum Zguid, then the village of Taznakht which is one of the biggest centers of carpets in the kingdom where we will visit a cooperative of Berber carpets made by women of the surrounding villages. Arrive to Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah, a fortified village of the 11th century where we will spend the night.

After breakfast we will visit Ait Benhaddou Kasbah as it has been named as wold heritage site by Unesco in 1987. Ait Benhaddou is the World Heritage site that has been utilized as a setting for more than 20 movies incorporating “Gladiator” “Indiana Jones” and “Lawrence of Arabia”. Revel in a stroll to investigate the universal Moroccan style of construction modeling in which the Kasbahs are constructed. We drive crossing the Ounila vally to visit the Kasbah of Talouet , one of the most beautiful kasbahs in the Atlas Mountains. We head to Marrakesh through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’tichka pass. Drop off at your Marrakech riad.
